I should’ve started this a long time ago.  I’ve done a lot in the past two weeks considering I left DC just 11 days ago, started a new job, and have started to make a few friends.  I don’t know how prolific a blogger I’m going to be but things are definitely looking good as I will soon be living on my own, for the first time, in about two weeks.  I’ll need something to keep me company - and what better companionship than the internet.

I don’t know if I should just go ahead and start with my first day here or just recap the last week or so and make this thing as up-to-date as possible or draw out this beginning with a few posts leading up to the present.  And if you haven’t noticed all of this is going to be stream of consciousness style - no editting, no backtracking - just straight typing from the dome head.  But I will strikethrough if need be.. nice.
